Cancelling, downgrading, and refunds

Cancelling or downgrading

  1. Go to console.supermemory.ai → Billing → Manage subscription.

  2. Choose Cancel or select a lower plan. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep your plan's features until then.

Note: if your stored data or usage exceeds the lower plan's limits, the downgrade may be blocked until usage fits the target plan. Delete unused documents or wait for the monthly reset, then retry.

"I cancelled but was still charged"

Two common causes:

  • Wrong organization or account — subscriptions belong to an organization. If you own several orgs (or signed in with a different Google/GitHub identity), the active subscription may be on the other one. Check the org switcher and your other sign-in methods.

  • Cancellation at period end — cancelling stops renewal but the already-invoiced period stands.

If neither explains it, contact support with your org ID and the invoice date — we'll sort it out.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We're generally do not accommodate when a subscription renewed unused, and we do refund when billing error occurred on our side. Include your org ID and the relevant invoice when you write in. Note that usage-based charges for tokens actually consumed (for example, by an agent or plugin you ran) are generally not refundable, since the processing cost was incurred.

Data after cancelling

Cancelling stops billing but does not delete your data. If you also want your data or account deleted, say so explicitly in your request or use account deletion in settings.
